Description

This green barn has been a landmark on Highway 28 at the edge of Nokesville Virginia since it was first painted green with the dancing animals on one end. I would like to be able to tell you when Esther painted it but the date has long since peeled away though her name is still at the bottom.

Thank you all for the kind words. I have been trying to shoot this since I first saw it but it is on a busy highway that feeds DC from suburbia so I figured sunrise on a Sunday would allow me to park a mile away and not get hit by a car hiking in the dawn light and the weather finally cooperated.
