This is an image of my oil painting 'Lemons on Moroccan Plate', from my Still Life series. It features freshly-picked lemons from the tree in my back yard (at the time) resting on one of my favourite Moroccan ceramic plates. The simple colour palette of yellows, greens and blues gives a bright, cheerful contemporary feeling to this cozy domestic image.
