Description
Two leaves float atop a forest creek after a light rain deposits raindrops atop the Maple leaves.
On a recent hike through a local park, Chestnut Ridge Park, filled with deciduous trees I came across a stream that was barely flowing but had a few puddled areas. In one such area I noticed these two maple tree leaves floating. Each one has small water droplets formed from the light rain we had the evening before. I loved the way that the droplets captured and reflected the light coming from above and sneaking through the trees.
