Description
Lawrencetown Beach is on the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia, Canada, a few miles by road from the city of Dartmouth. The long, curving beach, with a headland at each end, has become a favourite place for surfing over the last number of years. The open waters of The Atlantic Ocean were fairly placid this day, but because of the gradual slope of the beach even on a quiet day there is some surf, and of course when the ocean kicks up a storm, which it often does, the surf builds up very rapidly. The beach is a popular place for both locals and tourists because of it's close proximity to all amenities, including a paved road running close at hand.

Hi John, many thanks my friend. I used to live on a hill overlooking that beach, and spent many happy hours on it. Always a "first" when I get back East! My gal Jann loves it too!
