This beautiful old Sarpy County barn sits atop a slight rise with a road on one side and its fields dropping off gently to the west on the other. Its house is on higher ground yet and to the north (on the right as you view the image) so the original owners must surely have had the importance of a good view in mind when they built. The silhouettes of large old trees, leafless at this season, hover over and frame the home and barn, now empty.
