Description
In Boulder County, we explore the lakes at Golden Ponds Park in Longmont, Colorado. As sunny rays shine on serene lake reeds, we immerse ourselves in peaceful stillness that brightens our hearts and minds.
This luminous work utilizes Joel's signature neo-impressionist style, to express with beauty reminiscent of stained glass our planet's radiant living energy.

Wow! What an interesting technique... I love it! The softness of the sky is a perfect backdrop for the vibrancy of the landscape.

That's what I can see, it also reminded me of the Morcoft pottery designs, we sometimes don't see our own influences but others do.
Joel Bruce Wallach replied:
Fascinating, Veronica. I hadn't examined Moorcroft's ceramics before today, but the shapes and designs do have some resonance with my style. Worthy of further exploration!

Beautiful textures and colours, it's somewhere between Art Nouveau and Impressionist for me, lovely work.L
Joel Bruce Wallach replied:
Thank you, Veronica. I hadn't consciously made the nouveau connection before, but in fact I am influenced by the stained glass look, and Tiffany's glass creations were definitely nouveau style.
