Description
This began as a photo, taken on Broadway in Washington Heights, of a mannequin in a shop window and a reflection on the glass of buildings across the street. Digital processing created the illusion of a woman's somewhat transparent face as an element of the architecture, the "spirit" of the buildings.

Well seen and cleverly captured, Sarah. It reminds me of street art in Glasgow, Scotland (except the window a/c units). v/f

Interesting idea, Sarah! I had for sometimes same idea with the woman face and the sea, but still didnt realized...:-)
Sarah Loft replied:
Thanks, Jenny! I like your idea of the woman and the sea a lot. It evokes the notion of the sea/earth as the womb of life. I hope you go ahead and do the project.

Really interesting image Sarah...makes one want to know the "story!" It has a very surreal quality which I like and I found myself looking at the windows to see if there were other "apparitions" around. I love the warm tones and the rainbow like colors reflected in the windows! v/f
