This 2011 painting has been reworked this autumn. The original painting (with thanks to model Kelli) had a far more colourful background, which I felt needed subduing to make the foreground figures stand out better. I've provided a lot more detail, both in the shawl and figuratively, with hopefully good effect. 2011 - November 2015, acrylic on canvas, 16" x 20"
