Description
A door within an old room of an abandoned asylum in New York State. The instruction on the door reads "Keep door locked at all times". We can see the coutyard outside the window where the residents might sit for some sun and fresh air. The old wooden door with security glass windows keeps all inside. the interesting green color wall with electrical outlet box and wonderful textures and tones that can only happen with age.
This was an HDR processed photograph consisting of 5 exposures blended together with professional (and very expensive) editing software and finished up in Photoshop CS5. Shot with the Canon 5D MK2, a full frame DSLR.
