Created exclusively for ABC's smash primetime hit, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, these four hearts comprised of hundreds of found hearts cover a 10 ft x 9 ft wall in daughter, Katrina's room. Filmed in Texas, this episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition will air on ABC in early 2011.
The hearts that comprise this design were found in cracks on sidewalks, on oranges, in dogs' fur, in fabric and chewing gum. A vinyl decal was created and adhered to the wall.
When Alex�s Heart Wall was installed, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition staffers had to close the room several times as many people working inside the house stood in front of the wall staring at the hundreds of found hearts.
