Description
This SE Topeka Kansas area native stone barn was built in 1877 by George R. Bronson, who moved his family; including servants, fine horses, and coaches from St. Louis in 1876. They came to the Ridgeway community east of Carbondale, Kansas. George R. Bronson was also known as Colonel Bronson. He was a circus man who was born in New York State and built the barn to house circus animals, but only stayed for one year National register of historic places # 03001468
