Nice. I've never photographed that mill, but we ran across the Mingus mill on our last trip, and I grabbed a photo: http://fineartamerica.com/featured/mingus-grist-mill-andy-crawford.html?newartwork=true That's just a great area to spend time. l/fav/t
Stephen Stookey replied:
Excellent BW of the Mingus Mill. We made it to the Mingus Mill late in the day--I have a few images of Mingus on my page. The Cable Mill in Cade's Cove is well worth a visit. Cade's Cove holds numerous photo opps in addition to the mill--churches, cabins, landscape, wildlife, etc. Pack your patience when you visit; Cove is extremely popular with visitors to GSMNP. The narrow, single lane one way route can be quite congested.
