Congratulations, Irv! Your excellent painting was chosen to be exhibited on the homepage of THE GALLERY WALL where our theme this week is all about "Modes Of Transportation." Irv, I was still living in So. Cal when the Getty first opened and the tram was not yet operational. I didn't think that anyplace, other than the "old" Getty in Malibu, could replace what so many of us had been going to see for years. I was wrong. The new museum is spectacular and I hope that everyone who lives and visits Los Angeles, takes the time to tour this prestigious venue!
Irving Starr replied:
It is truly amazing and free except for a small parking fee. Their outreach program brings about 1,000+ school children a day. I volunteer for that program.
