Description
Two bees fighting over the one flower, and the tree was covered in blossoms!
The Lollypop Gum Tree, "Lollypops", is a grafted flowering Gum Tree. Its botanical name is Corymbia Ficifolia. It only grows to a small size of around 5m high and flowers profusely. I don't think I have ever seen a plant that attracts so many bees!

Thank you, Carl for you comment and vote. Sorry for the delay. NOTE TO ALL: A week ago I got a new computer with Windows 7. I have had many issues with changeover from Vista. Finding and uploading previous software & programmes, file associations, etc.... I have been tearing my hair out! I will do my best to catch up with all your kind comments over the past week... it may take me a while but I will try.

I really appreciate your kind comment thank you, Neal. It was the first time I have seen one of these Lollypop Gum Trees, and it was full of bees. They just move too much!

Beautiful shot, Kaye. The colors are so vivid and the detail on the bees is excellent. Great DOF, too.
