It Must Be Raindrops is an acrylic painting on stretched canvas inspired by the song by Dee Clark (November 7, 1938 � December 7, 1990) who was an American soul singer best known for a string of R&B and pop hits in the late 1950s and early 1960s, including the song "Raindrops," which became a million-seller in the United States in 1961. It is a night scene looking from outside a rain covered window into a well lit greenhouse. There is an obvious relationship between the song, the darkness outside, the rain and then the promise of a new beginning with spring flowers starting to bloom in a greenhouse.
