Description
This is a section of shoreline alone the peninsula of land on which the famous Hook Lighthouse sits. This is cropped just below the horizon line, which eleiminates the lighthouse seen in the previous painting posted. This is the "Hook" referred to in the Cromwell saying "by Hook or by Crook". Where he speaks about his plans to invade Ireland.
