Description
I first Maria at the Raymi Capac solstice celebrations in Saraguro in Dec/12. The indigenous people of Saraguro are famous for their beadwork so I was surprised to encounter Maria beading on a churchyard bench in Loja.
This artwork is derived from a photograph taken May 9/14 in Loja, Ecuador, South America nestled in the Andes Mountains.
