Description
Alternative title: "Winter Hunt"
Somewhere in the prehistoric rocky mountains, an indian hunter peers around a boulder at a lone bison. The bull somehow got separated from the herd and the tracker has been on its trail for days. Now, he's found it. Unfortunately, he has only one atlatl dart left, and the bull is huge.

The setting and execution in your work(s), just wonderful. You create a whole story in your images. So few even know what an atlatl is and how they work. Wow! (and yes, the Fisher King does jump to mind, thank you)

You think the Indian might be getting a little chilly? Bare arms, snow on the ground, brrrr.

I think the Buff wins this round. Love the Atlatl theme Daniel do you throw ? I have several Atlatls they are fun to mess with in fact our sportsmans club has a primitive weekend coming up soon time to dig them out.
Daniel Eskridge replied:
Thanks, Gerald! No room in the dense suburbs where I live for such ranged sports. Once upon a time it was more rural around here and I had hunting bow, but I sold it years ago.
