Description
As close to the feeling of Autumn I can have is when the Cottonwood trees turn golden in the fall. The creek running down through the Indian Canyons, outside Palm Springs, is lined with palms, small grape vines here and there, and a few tall cottonwoods. The skirts that form beneath the green fronds of the palm trees, and some wild grasses gives us "Desert Dwellers" the feeling of Fall that most of the country experiences.
This small painting is but part of the whole. I just loved the intimacy of the creek in Autumn..
