Description
In Remembrance of Things Past
I wrote a poem you did not read,
Sang a song you did not hear
Painted a landscape you did not see
All these things I did for love
To make you proud, to earn your care,
And yet, there was a thing I could not do
Accept that you could love me as I am,
And that you did as far as you were able.
