All of us feel battered by life at one time or another. This picture was born out of seasons of my own battles where I felt beaten down and defeated, only to realize that Jesus was really there all the time, loving and caring for me. Like it has dawned on the woman in this drawing that Jesus is beholding her and cherishing her, even in the midst of her own dark trials, I pray that this image would bring forth hope and faith that God is indeed, tenderly and lovingly holding you in His hands, too, no matter what you are facing.
