I Sing Your Praise,
This waterfowl scene was taken at the Washingtonian Center in Gaithersburg, MD. Also known as Rio. One of my favorite places to feed the wildlife and to take photographs of the ducks, Emden geese, and seagulls. This was a very warm December day and the Embden geese were out. I was waiting patiently for this goose to spread his wings while he was drying off on the rocks. And what a stunning pose it was. That was my special capture of the day. I knew it. I was so thrilled because I had been patiently waiting, as my shots were not coming out the way I wanted. And then this beauty put on a show for me. Yeah!!! I went home very happy. I had a wonderful afternoon feeding and photoshooting the geese and ducks. Emmy Vickers,
