Lonely at dusk, Husum falls seen just above the bridge are filled with the squeals of laughter and terror as rafters and kayakers plunge into the ice-cold swirl below them. Rafting the White Salmon is a thrill a minute...and the dramatic scenery is just icing on the cake. The highway that stretches from Bingen Washington on the Columbia River Gorge to the quaint mountain community of Trout Lake rolls over the picturesque trestle bridge above.
