Description
One of the islands in Galapagos is just pure Lava. You are looking at our reflections from the sunset behind us, turning the black lava into various color. Afar is still part of the same island only as it turns it is no longer so full of lava. The people are the shadows of our tour group. This is a digital hand painted picture in equality of heavy oil paint.
I am a green artist. Oil and thinners and other even water based paints have toxins in them. Using digital tool I am a green artists.
But have no worry, I have over 30 years of real oil and tempera painting experience--plenty of "real" painting on my walls so I know what the technique is and how to achieve that look. Digital work incorporates textures as digital textures hence the printed art will look way better than the print of a photographed oil paint.
