Oh, my dearest Michel. I am not totally without any confidence. I meant that my images with People were not as good. I'm okay with my other works.. and I don't know how yours in my genre compare! I'm going to add a few tonight... I'll hide them in the People folder. :-D

Hi Michel, the image is on my computer. Perhaps I will put some up in my people's gallery, but I tremble a little as I know how good yours are and mine art not. I'll look through my images and put some up this weekend. :-P Maggie

Ha....so where did you leave that image ? Is it here online ? It's a typical scene to shoot and you did that too inspite you not shooting people...lol. I did not always shoot people. I think I started shooting them in 2005. I told you probably about that slideshow that I made with a Frenchman, completely online with only email. The theme was one day of people in the city. So that's why I had to make them. There was a transitional period where my people where actually silhouettes...getting used to getting more closer...anyway...now I'm very focused and it's difficult for me Not to shoot images with them. It is a mindset, and I am just a ordinary guy, not conspicuous of course...otherwise it would be more difficult to shoot in close range. I haven't shot lately but I know that I should be able to still know how to use my eyes. The only problem is the routine...anyway...before I'm boring you...thanks again and wishing you a gorgeous and sunny weekend !!

Hi Michel. This is an interesting image (aren't they all? LOL). This could have been one of your cool images where the parent, or adult actually seems interested in the child but not this one. I think I told you once before that I rarely take images of people and when I do it is usually during an event and I have an image I took at a fair where parents were on the outside of the gate for a ride for young kids. There was a guy there watching his boy, and a couple, that were all excited to see their child in the ride, you can see it on their faces. There is a mom with her child waiting and they are hugging... it's a great day. Then there is the one man who just seems bored out of his skull and just waiting for it to be over. When I saw this image, I had that exact same feeling. This guy, has either just picked her up from school, or has her for the weekend. The girls backpack is on the floor. He looks like he has this responsibility and wishes he was somewhere else... but I'm glad to see that she seems to know how to occupy herself. It's good that she can make her game or her "art"... and yes, I did notice it is written on the wall behind her, but mostly that she can make herself happy without someone making her happy. I wonder if he would act differently if he could see the disconnect that is going on. Surely he would be surprised. I hope so. Now, I wasn't there, and you were but I can only surmise from what see and how it makes me feel. Not many can do what you do and as well as you do. I wonder after years of taking such pictures if you have accumulated a deep understanding of us, the human race! Have a wonderful weekend, my friend. Keep showing me the world around you in ways that make me think, ponder, create stories and dream. :-) Maggie
