Though I am in no way a morning person, I will sometimes endure the battle if it means beautiful lighting for taking photographs. This picture was taken only minutes away from where I live, on a cold foggy morning in January. Interacting with the white horse I met that day was humbling. After a while, he would warm up to me as I ran my fingers through his mane. Later, he finally agreed to a few portraits. Here's one I think came out great, both in the original pastel color from the rising sun and in black and white. The hot air balloons deep in the background, can be removed at your request.
