My Goal when painting, is to make my paintings look as much like my Photos as Possible. In Photography, to make my Photos look as much like my Paintings as possible. When people find it difficult to determine which is which, then my goal is successful. The work stands on its own. Some like it, others do not, artists do not to work to please others, but create what they like, if others like it, that is a bonus. All work sold on FAA, in reality is a digital copy. It may be a copy of a painting or a photograph, it really does not matter which if you like it.

The Chapel of the Holy Cross is a Roman Catholic non-denominational chapel built into the mesas of Sedona, Arizona. The Chapel rises 250 feet out of a one thousand foot red rock cliff. Most of the development seen today was built in the 1980s.
It was was inspired and commissioned by sculptor Marguerite Brunswig Staude. Richard Hein was chosen as project architect, and the design was executed by architect August K. Strotz, both from the firm of Anshen & Allen.

The chapel is built on Coconino National Forest land; the late Senator Barry Goldwater assisted Staude in obtaining a special-use permit.

The construction supervisor was Fred Courkos, who built the chapel in 18 months at a cost of US$300,000. The chapel was completed in 1956.

The American Institute of Architects gave the Chapel its Award of Honor in 1957. In the sculptor's words, Though Catholic in faith, as a work of art the Chapel has a universal appeal. Its doors will ever be open to one and all, regardless of creed, that God may come to life in the souls of all men and be a living reality.

In 2007, Arizonans voted the Chapel to be one of the Seven Man-Made Wonders of Arizona, and it is also the site of one of the so-called Sedona vortices.

The Chapel is one of the main tourist attractions in the Sedona area. It is open from 9am to 5pm daily and closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, Good Friday and Easter.

when you use the HD viewer or click on the image, its a lot easier to tell the difference. When a large painting is compressed into much smaller image it hides the detail.

Paintings or Photographs of beautiful things, especially those in nature can help you feel better, when you stop and take a few moments to see all the details. It could even surprise you, just how relaxed you can feel after viewing 100 or more images (just try it today) when you take the time for a break. View or scan them carefully noticing details you would not have otherwise seen, and take the time to see a hundred or so images in that manner. Just clicking Next at the top of the page, again, and again. Just breathing slowly as you are taking the time to find details you would not normally have noticed. Breathing slowly as you watch the next page loading, can even be a form of meditatioon or relaxation as you think of the scene or landscaps as if you are actually in that environment. And when you take ten minutes or so to observe them and pay attention to how you are feeling as you do. we know you will enjoy our work, even more, and you can just return whenever you feel like you can use a break... just enjoy them, even more, before long...

Art is about communication. When you communicate something to someone, then your work is a success. Money is not the measure of success for most artists. Van Gogh only sold one painting in his lifetime. Yet he is considered one of the MASTERS... :)
