Hide Here by Karen Cook- One male ring necked pheasant joins three females of the flock as they gather under a small tree, bare of any foliage in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia. Although bare of leaves, the birds apparently feel safe and secure from any predators as they huddle together.
