Description

"Heritage Hill House" is a beautiful piece of historical property and this image is of the log home that was built in the 1780's by a farmer and his large family. It changed hands several times and was restored and added onto over an 11 year period from the 1970's to through the 1980's. This view is around the corner from the front entrance and was the porch that over looks the large fields that were farmed over all those years and a very large barn also vintage and with much of the original wood still in place. The house became a craft supplies shop for a very long time and classes were taught there and then a framing shop. The newest owners have built their own home perpendicular to this house where they live and the Heritage House is now used for banquet facilities and other needs. The rustic feel of this property draws me out that way to walk the land and see and be reminded of a time gone by. The owners are very kind and allow me to do this and other also. What a welcoming little log home! I can imagine this home decorated with Christmas wreaths, garlands and red bows-- inside and out-- for the Holidays! With electric candles in the Windows and a beautiful Christmas tree as the centerpiece! Wonderful find and capture, Sandi! L&F Happy Holidays!
