The Heart of Africa has won many First Place awards, because the face of this wonderful Samburu woman from Kenya exemplifies the warmth and love of the African continent and speaks to the viewers soul. This is a mixed media painting, using a Fractal Vision as the background with a portrait of the beautiful African woman in the foreground. The colourful beads of her head piece and necklace sparkle and create wonderful movement around her beautiful face which contrasts beautifully with the Fractal background.
