Description
The turquoise blue waters of Havasu Falls, located on the Havasupai Reservation, Havasu Canyon in northern Arizona. Taken May 2014.
A demanding 10-mile hike (one way) is required to get to this waterfall. The hike is filled with scenic beauty, complete with towering red cliffs and spectacular turquoise waterfalls. Located in one of the most remote and beautiful corners of the Grand Canyon on the Havasupai Indian Reservation is the village of Supai, Arizona. Only accessible by hiking, horseback or helicopter.
We were on a 3-day hike. We hiked in and out and did extra hiking on day 2 to other waterfalls. Our total trip was approximately 30 miles.
