... Late in the day,
the sunrise colors
are golden and pink,
reflecting in the salty water
of the harbor on Jekyll Island.
The breeze is so calm
and the reflections are almost perfect
in the marina's waterway.
The owners of these boats
shelter here sometimes
for days at a time
and even weeks,
enjoying the tropical air
and beautiful mood of this island.
Jekyll is so pretty and natural,
full of bicycling trails
and sand dunes.
Driftwood Beach is well-known
for it's interesting driftwood
and one of the best
seafood restaurants
for the locals is Sea-Jays,
right around the corner
from this ship marina...
