Mark... Want to thank you for te amazing shot. I had not realized how the recent drought would effect the pool. As a boy and teenager the pool was one of our favorite to go to while skipping school.... You are right on target about the sight and sounds of the picture. Even the smells of the wet moss on the rocks. I appreciate the shot because at my age I may be able to get down to the pool but doubt I could get back up...

Thanks John, I'm not sure how old this comment is but I have only just noticed it. Putting people into the location of the photo is what I strive to achieve in my photography. I am glad I was able help you to see the place where those beautiful moments happened. I too have had similar wonderful moments and experiences here in what can only be explained as natures splendid gift.

Thanks Lois! It is a great park and I am excited because the county has recently purchased more land for the preserve. This pool was featured in the last Predator movie as well as The Tree Of Life.
