Description
The late afternoon winter sun created a shining path directly into the harbor entrance of the community of Sooke, on the west coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. A fishing boat heading home from the Pacific was silhouetted against the background of clouds over the Olympic Mountains.

Unique flare of sun rays coming from the clouds, and I like the jutted section of trees on left. Great shoreline shot, with log, and the buoy, as it appears to be, to the right of the reflective sunshine on the water. Nice composition, George!

I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised at getting the sun flare. The "buoy" is a fishing boat, you can see it better if you use the loupe view feature.
