Golden Canyon is a popular hiking trail in Death Valley National Park in California. At the end of that trail, you can retrace your steps back to the trailhead, or hike further in a large loop that takes you up and then back down through some amazing badlands. That part of the trail is named Gower Gulch Loop.
Here is an image take while hiking that loop. The two hikers on the trail on the lower right side of the photograph give you sense of the scale and desolation of this incredible place.
