It is said that, if you visit a place often enough, you will find a treasure; this is a perfect example. I had been up beyond the Peaks of Otter and was on the way home; and stopped here to have a look at the valley. The rainbow wasn't visible until I looked back toward the Peaks. What a wonderful surprise. I got there just in time; it was fading out. I had to work quickly to get my widest lens on the camera and mounted on the tripod. The radiating lines weren't visible until I viewed it on the computer screen.
