Golden Eagle

Thank you so much as I have just mentioned strange how sometimes detail just happens :)

Thank you Alfred strange the feathers evolved at the end of my brush I was fearing them so much detail then they just happen ..some times the medium of Water colour and acrylic when water is involved strange things happen like magic !!

Thank you so much Mary the acrylic medium was a challenge with the feathers to make a meal of the detail in his feathers ?so I just did a water colour move wet in to wet and magic happened detail appeared such a surprise fun I love the loose flow you achieve with your application so delicate

Thank you Mary we have an Australian eagle whom steals my chickens just in our valley I will try to get a phot of him to paint but he is a pain I have lost 5 chickens to him plenty of wild fodder for him/or her I cannot let my chickens out any more Hmmmmm

Hi Bob thanks it is part of the bird taken from a photo on the web but the photographer wanted a fee As this was a gift to my family member I honored the photographer by not posting the full portrait of the golden eagle it was against the background of Pauls childhood camping ground were he hunted with his uncle I wish I could post the full portrait as the feathers turn out fine thank you again I hope you will post more of your painting on FAA :)

They look awsome and fierce predators ! The most dangerous we have are snakes and wild ex-domestic cats and dogs !your photography is just wonderful

Hi David it did Paul lives a very full life as a hairdresser amazing energy eats all and everything but never gains weight useful when you come from an Italian family he is very thankful for his treatment and his extension in life
