Barkerville was the centre of the Cariboo gold rush in British Columbia in the 1860s, and played a large part in the decision to have the province join the Canadian confederation.
This collage was created using five original colour photographs I took when I worked in Barkerville as the manager of the old-time theatre many years ago. I have aged the images to look like photos of the era and put them together over a wooden texture, implying a rustic table. The gold is indeed real!
