Description
As the sun was setting over the Mediterranean Sea, many of the workers in Tel Aviv are one their way home outside of the city. The city of Tel Aviv serves as the Financial Center for Israel and is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea meeting with the ancient city at the port of Jaffa creates a timeless experience for visitors. This city has served was vital the trade routes that ran from Egypt and Europe to Jerusalem. Many of the cities in Israel have the word "Tel" as a prefix to them. "Tel" means a man made mountain. As cities grow, one civilization will be built over the over, causing the land to raise up. This is why some of the ancient cities like Tel Meggido are 15 stories tall as they are composed of 27 civilizations stacked upon one another. I found Tel Aviv to be quite warm and inviting; I surely hope to return someday.
