In this abstract topographical map of Georgia we see the physiographic provinces of the Peach State. Starting from the deep blue of the Atlantic Ocean at image's bottom-right and heading inland, the bright greens and blues highlight the lower coastal plain. Heading northwest, the gentle river valleys of the upper coastal plain are shown in mid-tone blues and greens. We then come to the Piedmont region of rolling hills and valleys shown in purples and bright greens. Lastly, the Blue Ridge Mountains and Appalachian Plateau are shown in golds and greens at the top-left.
