Description
Another image from the trip deep inside our weeping cherry tree in April 2015. The sunlight filtering in through the profusion of pink and fuchsia - colored blossoms lends a gentle highlight to some blossoms, to some petals, but not all. A hint of the perfect, clear blue sky behind gives the viewer the lovely contrast of warm and cool colors ... relaxing and joyful!!
My original photographic image was taken with the Nikon D750 and the Nikkor Macro / Micro 105mm. A bit of fun in Adobe Camera Raw, then on to Photoshop CS6 for a bit of tweaking ... then a full digital hand-painting with Wacom stylus and tablet. Back again to Photoshop for a few more this-and-thats ... for a finished image that combines the easy-breezy look of impressionism with razor sharp attention to detail in selective spots. Just for the fun of it!!
