Description
Mule deer are found primarily west of the Missouri River and chiefly in the Rocky Mountain regions. This Colorado mule deer buck has turned black-gray for the fall having been more reddish brown with gray in the summer. They have a white rump patch and a small white tail with a black tip which makes them somewhat easier to spot when in areas where they are well camouflaged. This buck is considered a 4-point buck because it has four points on the left side of the rack, excluding the brow tine.
