Description
I couldn't resist doing an acrylic painting, en plein air, of this bright, colorful, yellow forsythia bush that had wrapped itself around a pine tree. Since moving to Maine over a decade ago, I have come to anticipate the blooming of the forsythia as a long awaited welcome to Spring! The painting is on a birch ply panel.
