Description
The sun has been up for a while, but she's having some trouble burning off the fog from the night before. Autumn can be like that, even on top of a 3,000 foot mountain, Blue Knob, in Claysburg PA. The colors which will be vivid greens and the beginnings of the rusts and reds of fall are muted now ... but no less beautiful.
Image captured with the Nikon D40x and the 18-135mm lens on 9/20/08.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."

Lois, this is such a beautifully balanced composition, love that fence line and the foggy sun light is contrasted perfectly with the rest of the composition! v/f

Lois - I get so caught up in your wonderful processed art that I have to take time to let you know how phenomenal of a photographer that I think you are. So much of your art obviously begins with the solid foundation of a perfect photograph. This photo is an excellent illustration of your skills as a photograpaher. Excellent DOF and composition - very nice indeed. v/f
