Description
I recently designed a logo for an upcoming festival in Topsail Beach, NC and came up with the concept of Mother and Hatchling Loggerheads first look on the shoreline. I liked the idea so much I decided to give it a shot as a painting - but in an underwater environment.

I love aquatics...especially turtles. This piece is so wonderfully serene to look at and brings a smile to my face. I love your style and technique, its much to be desired. Great piece William!!

Thanks Kimberlee. Actually a loggerhead but I changed her head to try and give a subtle appearance of a smile. I looked at your work, beautiful turtles you have there.

Congratulations, William, on placing as a Top Finisher for an underwater sea contest! This is a stunning image! It is one of the best I have seen! Is it a Green Sea Turtle? It looks also a bit like a Hawksbill, but its bill or mouth is not as pronounced in most of the ones I have seen for a Hawksbill. In any case, I love it! V/F
