This mare and foal are part of my family. This foal is Kechena's (a rescued Secretariat granddaughter) one and only.
23 hours after Sahali was born, Kechena lay down to roll. I was in love with this baby and was watching. Sahali went over to her mom, seemingly wondering what was wrong and lay beside her, their legs entwined. I ran for the camera.
My "Equine Madonna and Child" has been on the covers of magazines, catalogs, books, etc.
A 100% environmentally-friendly poster of First Born is available on the artist's web site at www.twinheartphoto.com. They measure 16 x 20, are printed on heavy, 100% recycled stock and sell for $40.00 each.

Thank you, Mary. Yes, definitely, I use Photoshop on them. Some, just a touch-- like one would in the darkroom, others there is a lot of photo-art going on. Several of them are many photos in one. Thanks again for your kind words.
