Love the passion in his eyes. Such strength in his male body and gesture of earnestness in his praying hands. Great work!

Ulysses, Wow! Your painting described the word Humility clearly. It captivated me, all I could think of is His Amazing Grace. The Lord has blessed you with an incredible gift.

He will do what He needs to do to bring us back to Him because we are His children, and He loves us :) A Father's Love! Thank you, Ulysses. Your work is a blessing!

Ulysses, I still love this painting! It touches my heart and lifts my spirit every time I see it and is such a blessing. The love of Jesus shines in his face and continues to shine in the face of our loved one. Thank you for sharing this gift.
Ulysses Albert III replied:
Thanks Diannah! It's interesting, most people would not equate God blinding someone as love, something I've learned even more recently is that those who are His, He will do what ever it takes to bring us back to Him, most of the time, if it's painful it's because He's breaking our stubborness and selfish nature and the amazing thing is that He can love someone who rebels against Him daily!!

Not sure of the exact message here but I really like this one and your other paintings too!
Ulysses Albert III replied:
Thanks RG! The message is that In order for him to finally submit to God, it took God blinding him in order for him to finally see (ironic isn't it) The idea is a mixture of what Paul went through on the road to damascus and what I was and still am going through in some ways.

I voted for this image too in the "All Media Artwork" contest. I concur with Pamela's comments...as a Christian, I too identify with this painting. This is a wonderful piece. May the Lord continue to bless you as you honor Him with your talent.
Ulysses Albert III replied:
Thank you Nigel! I'm glad you identify with it. It was an emotional experience painting this, and something I hope to do until the Lord wills me to do something else.

As I was looking for something besides my own entry in the contest "Orange," I saw this painting and wanted to let you know I think it is so profound. As a Christian, I find a lot of symbolism in it that speaks to me. I voted for it in the contest. Great work!
Ulysses Albert III replied:
Thank you Pamela! It was a blessing to be able to do something that would glorify God.
