FALL'S MAJESTY by Lynn Bauer - The granite mountains of the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains provide a gorgeous backdrop for the colors of fall aspen as they change from the deep greens of summer to the lime greens, yellows, oranges, and occasional reds of autumn. Wonderful white clouds swirl above in the deep blue sky, giving the scene an almost unreal beauty. But, this beauty is very real! And, although California does not have as much fall color as the east coast, it's pretty hard to find beauty that rivals the majesty in these wonderful California mountains!
This image was taken in the inyo National Forest along Bishop Creek, on the road to South Lake, in the mountains above Bishop, California.
