Description
Juried show award winner. Original pen and ink pointillism on canvas. Images of 10 individual women's' faces begin as a trial. Having never done portraits, I started with the upper left image planning to abort this project if the image did not match my reference photo. I just kept moving around the canvas with more confidence. I used sepia ink to add color contrast in two images.The piece is 16" x 20", framed in a black canvas floater frame. Includes wall bumpers and hanging hook protectors. Drawn in 2012.
