This peaceful, scenic landscape is a beautiful park on an Autumn rainy day.
After the clouds break and let the sun start shining through, the mist is still in the air as the light reflects on the sidewalks. The fall foliage captures the sun in the yellow leaves.
ESU Stroud Hall , East Stroudsburg University.
College shopping, drudging along doing the obligatory campus tours on a pouring rainy day. We came out of Stroud Hall through the wall of glass doors - to this unexpected sight. Stopped me in my tracks, and I made the group touring wait while I got in a few photographs in of this heavenly view. I realized that this literally is my child's future. It was a perfect golden moment to see the sun break through the clouds. After all the stress of GPA's, SAT's and FAFSFA forms this was the moment that made realize what it was all worth.
I have since found out this view from Stroud Hall is called " The Peace walk ".
It leads down to the poignant statue of Julia. Julia was donated by the alumni as a Veteran's memorial to honor all those who have served.
This watercolor would make a great gift for anyone who has struggled through a difficult time, a graduating University student - or the proud parent of an ESU graduate!
An Inspiring view to meditate on, or perhaps practice yoga by.
